Podcasting is relatively new… it’s fairly complex… and it crosses several professional lines. Creating an audio or video podcast requires skills of production, web publishing, and project management. The DC Podcaster Alliance meets regularly to discuss podcasting trends. Additionally, guest speakers and member presentations offer advanced opportunities for learning.

In addition to educating its members, the group seeks to educate other industries about podcasting. The group is working to establish professional standards for podcasters. Those in need of podcasting services can also use the DCPA as a means to learn more about podcasting and to find professional vendors.

The DC Podcasters Alliance is the premier source for information on podcasting in the Washington, DC area.
